Watch Weekend Festival Finland Drops Full 2023 Lineup is making the biggest headlines in dance, hip-hop, and pop this July. The festival has announced full lineups for its upcoming 2023 anniversary year. Performances from Post Malone, Stormzy, DJ Snake, and David Guetta are scheduled from 21st-23rd July at the Savonlinna Amphitheater in Finland.

Founded in 2006, Weekend Festival Finland has spent the past decade building a brand that consistently brings the biggest names in dance, hip-hop, and pops to Scandinavia.
About the Festival
This is Finland's first multi-day music festival with internationally renowned headliners. The first-ever edition of the Weekend Festival occurred in 2006. Its lineup included Finnish artists such as Esa Pulliainen, Neljä Ruusua, Sikakorven Sissit, Hanoi Rocks, and Lordi. The ticket price was €30 for one day. The festival sold 25,000 tickets in only 4 months' time and grossed €1 million in ticket sales. The following year's edition was named "Event Of The Year" by Finnish Event Awards 2016. Since then, Weekend Festival has grown into Finland's biggest music festival with a total of over 70 events around Finland and over 300 partners worldwide.
This year sees the addition of an exciting electro/house stage curated by none other than Adam Beyer himself - and it doesn't stop there. The lineup also features performances from Cirez D x Steve Angello x Laidback Luke x Benny Benassi + more. This is set to be one of the most influential bills of this upcoming festival season.
The festival will also be hosting a SUPERBASE stage, with artists including Alesso x Martin Garrix x Don Diablo x Jordan & Baker + more. They have also included three international headliners in David Guetta, Stormzy, and DJ Snake - the latter of which are currently at the height of their careers.
Festival-goers will also be treated to performances from emerging local talent - this year's edition will see performances from fellow countrymen like Ella Vartiainen, Laura Närhi, and Joy, who are all vying for positions in the limelight.
David Guetta: The French superstar has conquered the charts many times with his remixes, in addition to collaborations with Sia, Justin Bieber, and Nicki Minaj. His latest album 7 hit number 1 on the UK Albums Chart for four weeks straight and spawned some of the biggest singles of recent times ("Light My Body Up" ft. Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne and "Dirty Sexy Money"). He's one of if not the biggest names in EDM right now - there's no doubt he'll bring a lot of energy to Savonlinna Amphitheater this summer. in the world's biggest charts.
Stormzy: Stormzy has been the most talked about the rapper in the UK for several years now, and that looks set to remain the same in the coming months - he's been confirmed as a headliner at Glastonbury, and has just gone platinum with his second album. Nobody else out there is making music quite like him right now.
DJ Snake: This French superstar is one of the biggest names in dance, hip-hop, and pop right now. His latest album Encore has charted at number 1 on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart. With hits including "A Different Way" (ft. Lauv) and "Taki Taki" (ft. Selena Gomez) - he's one of the hottest names in pop right now.
Alesso x Martin Garrix x Don Diablo x Jordan & Baker: Despite their rising fame, this foursome has consistently been making club-friendly beats for over a decade. This year's lineup marks the trio's first festival appearance together in over a year - and it doesn't look like it will be their last.
As previously mentioned, the festival will host performances from many different artists. However, these are some of the most notable acts:
Ella Vartiainen: This Finnish artist has been making a name for herself over the past few years. She's currently signed to TEN Music Finland and has released four singles so far. All of her singles have been certified platinum and have charted at number 1 on various charts in Finland. That includes "Minä Muistan" (Influential Dance Music), which went platinum with over 40,000 copies sold. Another notable hit is "Sua Ylimielisyys" (Influential Dance Music), which earned gold certification with over 10,000 copies sold.
Laura Närhi: Laura Närhi is another rising star in Finland. She's had many achievements since her first EP came out at the end of last year, including winning MTV's The Cut Artist of the Year award. Her single "Kaunis Kuva" has gone platinum in Finland - a remarkable achievement for someone who only started making music 3 years ago. She's also released two EPs and two singles this year to much success. There are big things to come from her in the future.
Joy: Another of Finland's rising stars, Joy is a hugely talented singer-songwriter who has shown great talent since her first EP came out in 2016. Her single "Nothing", which went certified gold, was featured on Ellen Degeneres' show and earned her an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. She's currently signed to Warner Music Finland and has had releases from her label and the single "Why I'm Here" (Influential Dance Music) with platinum certification in Finland. She's received two EPs to date, with most of them involving collaborations with other artists. Opening for Adam Beyer is sure to be a great way for Joy to debut some fresh new music to festival fans.
This year's edition of the Weekend Festival will be bigger and better than ever before. The festival site itself is located in the heart of Savonlinna, which lies on the Karelian Isthmus - one of Finland's most famous tourist destinations. It's a short 50km route from Helsinki and can be reached by bus or train from Helsinki. The campsite is located near the festival site and is open for camping from May 17th to May 26th for those who want to get there early and stay late! Access to the campsite costs €10 per person, with extra charges for car parking.
