Russia has developed the first version of a bill on social nutrition

The State Duma has prepared the first version of the bill on social nutrition. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the first deputy head of the parliamentary committee on the protection of the family, fatherhood, motherhood and childhood issues, Tatyana Butskaya .

She specified that social nutrition should be varied and correct not only in terms of the balance of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, but also their qualitative composition. Nutrition should also be complete and accessible.

The deputy emphasized that the adoption of the law cannot be delayed, since health preservation begins with proper nutrition.

In June, the State Duma stated that the introduction of free school meals would affect children’s health.

On April 5 , it became known that the Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, Vladislav Davankov, asked Rospotrebnadzor to prohibit the placement of salt shakers and sugar bowls on tables in public catering establishments.
